Mid-Market Account Manager

Nexum is looking to hire a highly motivated Account Manager with a track record of success to be part of a fast-growing sales team in the Northeast.   It is the perfect job for someone looking to build a book of business in network and cybersecurity sales.  It is not for the timid, but the rewards are high! What You Will Do

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas, develop and expand existing relationships
  • Build a territory via prospecting and networking
  • Conduct online and in person presentations and demonstrations of Nexum value proposition.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Nexum key partners
  • Understand a prospect's needs and challenges to effectively communicate how Nexum and key partners will address those needs or help solve those challenges
  • Use for lead, account, and opportunity management
  • Maintain an accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecast

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2-3+ years network and/or security sales experience selling to a technical audience Experience in renewing and expanding product footprint within existing customers
  • Ability to manage a strong sales process using both in person and online presentation tools
  • Demonstrable experience over-performing in a fast-paced, sales environment
  • Adept at understanding and articulating new technologies, and mapping the respective value propositions to customer needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of over-achievement in past experiences
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
