Ameer’s core competencies are in network engineering, security planning, and data assurance. He holds a BS in Pure Mathematics with concentration in cryptography and number theory, and a minor in Intelligence Studies. On prior engagements, Ameer has worked with the DoD, DoJ, and DoE on projects ranging from Intelligence Analysis and Cyberwarfare to Distributed Computing and Virtual Reality.

Since joining Nexum, Ameer has focused on VMware, F5’s load balancing and file virtualization technologies, and Aruba Networks’ enterprise wireless solutions. Recent projects at Nexum have included network analysis, F5 LTM and GTM architecture/deployment, custom remote command and control systems, and VMware environment design/construction. Ameer has worked with various Fortune 500 customers and large private and public firms.
