Sales Manager for IL/WI

Nexum, a fast-growing leader in the security industry, is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the IL and WI outside sales team along with the National Inside Sales Team.  Candidates must have a proven track record of leading by example and being a strong motivator.

Ideal candidates must be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of all members on the sales team to effectively grow skillsets to drive sales. The Nexum Inside Team is the bench for Nexum’s future sales stars. As the Inside Sales Leader, you will oversee the team’s daily tasks, develop, and strengthen sales acumen to advance top performers to outside sales roles.

You will work with Outside Sales, Marketing, Manufacturers, Partners, Vendors, Customers, and New Prospects, so good communication skills are a must!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Five years experience in outside sales
  • Two years managing an Inside Sales Team
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills as well as good telephone skills and etiquette
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting outside sales team with current customer and prospect meetings
  • Scheduling Vendor trainings for both inside and outside sales teams
  • Working directly with Marketing on Lead Generation activities
  • Assisting the team with Deal Registrations  
  • Coaching the Inside Sales team to harness their professional sales skills on the phone and through email
  • Helping team reach sales goals and holding them accountable
  • Work to improve team skills to better prospect for new customers.
  • Being an onsite resource for team members with questions, problems
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments
  • Act as a first line of escalation with our manufacturing partners
